- Often being the first impression made on our project pursuits
- Constant improvement, learning and growth
- Interfacing, coordinating and planning with Clients, Subcontractors, Design/Engineers and our in-house Operations team, typically on the front end of projects
- Design-Build coordination
- Design-Assist coordination
- Coordinating the issuance of construction documents for bid with the Estimating Coordinator
- Coordinating project/site walks and visits
- Receiving and reviewing RFPs
- Creating proposals, bids, estimates and budgets for and with Clients
- Being a key player in the proposal and interview process
- Working in On Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
- Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners
- Often times in a PX role in which weekly meeting attendance may be justified
- Recruiting potential/new Subcontractors that can assist our efforts
- Understanding and developing project durations/schedules
- Building preliminary milestone preconstruction schedules in MS Teams
- Attending weekly internal staff/team meetings
- Attending preconstruction meetings with the project team
- Attending punch walk meetings with the project team
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years construction industry experience.
- A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and site work related thereto
- Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, On Screen Takeoff, and other related software required to create required bids and documentation.
- Ground Up project experience highly desirable.
